Called “the funniest play ever written,” Noises Off is a masterclass in theatrical mayhem. This riotous backstage farce follows a bumbling theatre troupe attempting to mount a mediocre touring production—only to have missed cues, collapsing sets, romantic entanglements, and exploding tempers send everything into glorious chaos.
Told in three escalating acts—including a full backstage act where the drama among the actors outshines the show itself—Noises Off is a love letter to live theatre at its most unpredictable. Get ready for slamming doors, flying sardines, and nonstop laughter from start to finish.

Follow Ebenezer Scrooge as he encounters the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future—each realized through inventive puppetry, dynamic staging, and the uplifting score that has made Scrooge! a treasured holiday classic.

Calling all theatre production artists! Renton Civic Theatre would love to work with you! If you are a director, music director, choreographer, stage manager, production manager, teaching artist, or if you design costumes, sets, props, sound, or lighting, please get in touch! Please note that all director positions have been filled for Season 2026; please submit for consideration in Season 2027!
Due to the nature of production team staffing, you may not hear back from us immediately, or for a while even. Building teams takes a lot of time and there are a lot of moving puzzle pieces. That does not mean you are not being considered or we won’t keep your information on file to use down the line; we want to hear from all artists!
